A. TỪ ĐỒNG NGHĨA TRONG TIẾNG ANH LÀ GÌ ?

Từ đồng nghĩa (synonyms) là những từ có ý nghĩa tương tự hoặc gần giống nhau, dùng để thay thế nhau trong một số ngữ cảnh nhất định. Việc sử dụng từ đồng nghĩa giúp bài nói trở nên đa dạng, tự nhiên và linh hoạt hơn, đặc biệt hữu ích trong phần thi Speaking IELTS – nơi giám khảo đánh giá kỹ về Lexical Resource (nguồn từ vựng).

🔎 Ví dụ:

  • happy → cheerful, joyful, delighted

  • important → crucial, essential, significant

  • start → begin, commence, initiate

Việc nắm vững các cặp từ đồng nghĩa giúp bạn tránh lặp từ như “very good”, “very bad” và thay thế bằng những từ ăn điểm hơn trong mắt giám khảo.

10. Accommodate = Adjust to / Allow for: điều chỉnh / chứa

Ví dụ:

👉 The system can accommodate up to 100 users.

11. Accompany = Join: đi cùng

Ví dụ:

👉 She accompanied me to the interview.

→ She joined me for the interview.


12. Accomplished = Achieved: hoàn thành

Ví dụ:

13. Accordingly = Consequently: vì vậy, do đó

(Lưu ý: “Subject to” mang nghĩa hơi khác, cần cẩn trọng khi dùng thay thế trực tiếp trong văn cảnh trang trọng)


18. Acknowledge = Concede (v): thừa nhận

Ví dụ:

19. Acquire = Obtain (v): đạt được

Ví dụ:
