giải đề thi IELTS Writing

1. Hướng dẫn giải đề thi IELTS Writing Task 1: Dạng bài Process (Soft Cheese Production)

Đề bài Task 1

The diagram below illustrates the process of producing soft cheese. Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparisons where relevant.

Phân tích hình ảnh và chiến lược làm bài

  • Dạng quy trình: Quy trình nhân tạo (Man-made linear process).

  • Introduction: Paraphrase lại đề bài: The diagram details the various stages involved in the commercial production of soft cheese.

  • Overview: Nhấn mạnh 5 giai đoạn chính từ nguyên liệu lỏng ban đầu đến khi tách lọc thành phô mai mềm hoàn chỉnh, chú ý sự biến đổi qua các mốc nhiệt độ và thời gian kiểm soát.

  • Body 1:

The diagram illustrates the sequential stages involved in the manufacturing process of soft cheese.

Overall, the linear process comprises five primary phases, commencing with the initial mixing of raw ingredients and culminating in the final filtration and cooling of soft cheese. Throughout this transformation, the substance undergoes notable changes in physical consistency, transitioning from liquid to semi-liquid and ultimately into a thick edible product.

In the initial stage, water and milk are poured into a dedicated container where they are thoroughly blended using an automated mechanical mixer. Once homogenized, the resulting liquid is transferred into an adjacent tank to be cooled at 5°C for two hours. Following this cooling phase, salt is introduced into the liquid, which subsequently undergoes fermentation at a constant temperature of 37°C for six hours, converting it into a semi-liquid state.

The process continues with the evaporation phase, during which the semi-liquid is heated at boiling point (100°C) for eight hours. As steam escapes, the liquid thickens substantially into a dense mixture. Finally, this concentrated mixture is pumped into a large cooling vessel maintained at 5°C for a further eight hours. In this concluding step, excess waste water is filtered out and drained away through bottom pipes, leaving behind the finalized soft cheese ready for consumption.

Từ vựng ghi điểm trong Task 1

  • Sequential stages (n.phr): Các giai đoạn mang tính tuần tự.

  • Physical consistency (n.phr): Trạng thái đặc/lỏng vật lý.

  • Homogenized (v-ed): Được khuấy/trộn đồng nhất.

  • Fermentation (n): Quá trình lên men.

  • Evaporation (n): Quá trình bay hơi.

  • Dense mixture (n.phr): Hỗn hợp đặc quánh.

  • Filtered out and drained away (v.phr): Được lọc và xả thoát ra ngoài.

2. Hướng dẫn giải đề thi IELTS Writing Task 2: Dạng bài Positive or Negative Development

Đề bài Task 2

Organized tours to remote areas and communities are increasingly popular. Is it a positive or negative development for the local people and the environment?

  • Đối tượng đánh giá: Người dân bản địa (local people) và Môi trường sinh thái (the environment).

  • Introduction:

    • Tổn hại môi trường tự nhiên: Lượng rác thải nhựa quá tải, sự phá vỡ môi trường sống hoang dã do hoạt động xây dựng khách sạn/đường sá, ô nhiễm nguồn nước sạch bản địa.

    • Xói mòn và thương mại hóa văn hóa: Phong tục tập quán truyền thống bị biến thành màn trình diễn thương mại (commercialization of cultural heritage), lối sống phương Tây làm mai một nếp sinh hoạt cổ truyền của các dân tộc thiểu số.

  • Conclusion: Khẳng định lại quan điểm.

In recent years, guided group expeditions to remote destinations and isolated indigenous communities have witnessed remarkable popularity. While this trend undeniably yields certain economic benefits for local livelihoods, I firmly contend that it represents an overall negative development due to severe environmental degradation and the dilution of authentic cultural heritage.

On the one hand, organized tourism can serve as a catalyst for economic revitalization in impoverished regions. Many distant communities suffer from a lack of employment opportunities and industrial infrastructure. The influx of organized tour groups generates vital alternative revenue streams for residents through homestay hospitality, artisanal craft vending, and cultural guiding services. Furthermore, in an effort to accommodate commercial travel agencies, municipal governments are often incentivized to upgrade basic infrastructure, including paved roads, clean water sanitation, electricity networks, and healthcare facilities. These structural improvements directly elevate the overall standard of living for indigenous inhabitants.

On the other hand, the ecological and sociological repercussions of mass excursion far outweigh these economic dividends. Environmentally, remote ecosystems are intrinsically fragile and ill-equipped to cope with sudden demographic pressures. The arrival of large tourist cohorts invariably leads to excessive waste generation, littering, and water contamination, as most remote settlements lack modern waste disposal systems. Moreover, the construction of tourist lodges and vehicular roads often necessitates deforestation, fragmenting natural habitats and threatening vulnerable endemic wildlife.

Sociologically, the commercialization of local communities poses a catastrophic threat to cultural preservation. When traditional ceremonies and ancient rituals are performed repeatedly for tourist entertainment, they lose their sacred spiritual essence and degenerate into superficial commercial spectacles. Furthermore, prolonged exposure to consumerist values can disrupt close-knit communal bonds and induce cultural alienation among younger indigenous generations, who may abandon traditional practices in favor of modernized, urban lifestyles.

In conclusion, although organized excursions to remote frontiers stimulate rural economies and enhance local infrastructure, the irreversible damage inflicted upon delicate natural ecosystems and the erosion of cultural integrity make this a predominantly detrimental phenomenon. Strict regulatory quotas and eco-tourism frameworks must be enforced to safeguard these vulnerable regions.

Từ vựng ghi điểm trong Task 2

  • Isolated indigenous communities (n.phr): Các cộng đồng bản địa biệt lập.

  • Economic revitalization (n.phr): Sự tái sinh, phục hồi kinh tế.

  • Revenue streams (n.phr): Các nguồn doanh thu/thu nhập.

  • Ecological repercussions (n.phr): Những hậu quả/tác động về mặt sinh thái.

  • Commercial spectacles (n.phr): Những màn biểu diễn mang tính thương mại hóa bề nổi.

  • Cultural alienation (n.phr): Sự tha hóa, xa rời bản sắc văn hóa.

  • Predominantly detrimental (adj.phr): Nhìn chung mang tính gây hại là chủ yếu.
